Kit Chester

Kit Chester began acting at a theatre company in Hickory, NC at age of 14. She was homeschooled so that she could focus on all areas of theatre - improv, voice and dance. While performing in Les Miserables she met her agent Beverly Brock and began her professional career.

Kit appeared as Sandy in the award winning film Careful What You Wish For directed by Tim Vogel and produced by Lancer Entertainment. The film was the winner of the Emerging Talent Award at the 2010 Alaska International Film Festival as well as the Offical Selection of the Cape Fear Independent Film Festival in Wilmington, NC and a finalist in the USA Festival in Dallas, TX.

Kit relocated to Pittsburgh in high school and continued her career by appearing as Kayla, a kidnapped victim in the film Act of Man:Guns for Hire directed by Michael Snyder and produced by Wicked Redemption Studios. She also auditioned directly for award winning director Tony Scott for the role of the neighbor in Unstoppable. Mr. Scott saw an initial taping of Kit and chose to bring her directly to the final round of auditioning. While in Pittsburgh Kit worked frequently for New Show Studios, filming various scenes and voiceover pitches for their clients.

Kit attended Models of the South 2011 where she won the coveted Monologue Award, given to a single participant. She also took home top awards for most photogenic and commercial for her age group.

Now at age 20 Kit has relocated to LA with her long haired Chihuahua rescue, Thor, to further pursue her acting career. She has begun training at Groundlings. She studies guitar and foreign languages and spends much of her day at the gym with her personal trainer.
